MultiPod system installed at MSD in London

Initially installed with two San Francisco StoragePods. The storage capacity was then grown with the addition of two more of the StoragePods and a pair of Dundee StoragePods.

MultiPod system with 3 San Francisco StoragePods installed in Boston, USA

Capacity for 720 shallow well plates or 216 1.4ml tube racks. The customer is also using our smaller Dundee StoragePods, flushed with nitrogen using the flush port on the front of the MultiPod Controller.

Capacity for 960 shallow-well microplates or 288 1.4 ml tube racks. The StoragePods were installed using our stacking frames that allow two San Francisco StoragePods to be stacked on top of each other.

MultiPod installed in 2017

A MultiPod system first installed in 2017. It has run with complete reliability and was just relocated. The task of reinstalling it was straightforward taking about 30 minutes.

A starter MultiPod system with 5 Dundee StoragePods

A starter MultiPod system which the Customers expects to be expanding going forwards. The Customer has purchased 5 of our stainless steel Dundee StoragePods for plate recovery. Allowing 50 plates to be recovered (removed of moisture) each week.

One StoragePod is used for microplate storage. The other 8 StoragePods have custom removable trays for the storage of bottles and vials.

Starter MultiPod system

Purchased by a Boston based company as a starter MultiPod system with one San Francisco StoragePod. Since then, the system was expanded with an additional StoragePod, which was installed to the system and working in under 5 minutes.

Capacity for 480 shallow-well microplates or 144 1.4ml tube tracks. Now 5 years old and hasn’t broken down once!

MultiPod system with 8 San Francisco StoragePods

The system was purchased by a UK based start-up, initially with just two San Francisco StoragePods. The customer then subsequently added an additional two StoragePods each year to the current 8 in use. Capacity for 1,920 shallow-well microplates or 576 1.4ml tube racks.

The customer subsequently expanded the system with the addition of a third San Francisco StoragePod.

Our stacking frames are used to stack the San Francisco StoragePods on top of each other. Capacity for 1,440 shallow-well microplates or 432 1.4ml tube racks.

The customer started with two San Francisco StoragePods and then added an additional two StoragePods a couple of years later.

Capacity for 1,200 shallow-well microplates or 360 1.4ml tubes racks. The customer subsequently expanded the system with an additional 5 San Francisco StoragePods, doubling their storage capacity.

This system was purchased by a customers as a ‘starter kit’. Subsequently a further 6 San Francisco StoragePods were incrementally added to the system, increasing its capacity to 1,680 shallow-well microplates.

Capacity for 9,600 shallow-well microplates.

The MultiPod Controllers are installed into the customer’s laboratory, next to a -20 °C walk in freezer room.

The StoragePods are installed inside the walk in freezer room, connected to the MultiPod controllers via transfer manifold in the freezer room wall.
